In 2026, we kicked things off with our 6th evening session, this time hosted by Intellus Group in Boortmeerbeek. As the four initiators, we can only say how genuinely happy we are to see companies volunteering so spontaneously to host our events — data people clearly like good company .
Our initiative has now even crossed the language border, as we proudly welcomed our first French-speaking participant from Wallonia. Bienvenue!
Once again, we had two speakers, who took the stage after the ever-enthusiastic welcome by Luc Debois.
Jonathan Moeyersons opened the evening with a talk that already promised a smile: “The laws of UX through the eyes of a toddler.” He shared practical tips and tricks on how to build the right relationship with your customer and truly capture their needs in order to create effective Power BI reports. Sounds simple — but how many of us actually do this consistently in real life? Exactly. A very necessary reminder.
Next up was Peter van den Bos, whom we finally managed to convince to join us for a session — after only a two-hour journey from the Netherlands to Flanders (true dedication ). He shared his insights on Incremental Refresh in Power BI. After the philosophical start of the evening, this was where things got technical. Why re-import all your historical data every single time when you can avoid that painful process altogether? A hot topic, many questions, and an enthusiastic delivery with the timeless charm of a professional presenter. NOS, are you still hiring?
Our thanks go out once again to both speakers, to Intellus Group for the warm hospitality, catering, and beautiful auditorium — with a special mention for Ken Meeus — to the initiators Luc Debois, Wim Verhaege, Pieter Lust and Jan De Wilde, and of course to all our participants. The numbers keep growing: this time already 40 registrations via our website and LinkedIn. And we’re just getting started.
Join us for our 7th evening session in Ghent, hosted by Peliqan — and don’t forget to register!
